The summer transfer window has officially opened and now that the World Cup has come and gone, clubs are working away on major deals. For most clubs, planning will already be complete and they will have identified which players they want to sign, and which players they want to sell.

Tottenham are closing in on a sensational double deal worth €180.5 million to bolster Roberto De Zerbi’s attack. Reports in the Netherlands suggest they have agreed personal terms with Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo ahead of a possible €81.8m move, while a massive €99.4 deal for Manchester City winger Savinho is edging closer to completion, as reported in Brazil.
Arsenal are preparing to make an official approach for Brighton starlet Jack Hinshelwood. Per The Sun, the Gunners are keen to sign the 21-year-old, who scored four goals and registered four assists in 27 Premier League appearances last season. The versatile midfielder has a market value of €28m.
.Pierre-Emile Højbjerg has reportedly been stripped of the Marseille captaincy after turning down a move back to England with Newcastle United. The Dane, 31, snubbed the €17.5m switch to St. James’ Park and now finds himself out of favour, with the Ligue 1 outfit favouring an exit.
